"For $26 I got so much! 3 meats (beef rendang is quite spicy beware, sweet beef aka masak hitam is also nice maybe lacking something if I didn't have the other things, and the fish sambal is shining star of the meats here. The eggplant is maybe the best I've had so don't be fooled by the relaxed presentation and cheap cost), and 3 drinks! Wow what a bargain... I feel blessed... Haha yummm"

"I had asam pedas fish, stir fry vegies and fried chicken as my brunch. Generous portion and I feel full till night time. I bought some takeaways: ayam masak merah, ikan sambal, paru sambal, daging masak hitam and peria goreng. They are delicious! Love the kuih and prices are reasonable."

"One of the best authentic Malaysian restaurants I’ve been to in Melbourne (and I’ve been to many) Delicious flavours and the sambal has a proper kick. Simple atmosphere, clean environment and friendly owner. Will be back to try the other dishes, everything looks great."

"You know the food is good when it's full of Malaysians. Extensive Bain Marie selection available and it was delicious. Curry puff was nice too. It's a squeeze but you tend to hang around."

"This nondescript shop serves delicious Malay bain marie dishes at great prices. The flavours are spot on, authentic and portion sizes satisfying. I docked a star as our proteins (chicken and fish) were a tad dry Service is friendly, dining area is cozy"

"My favourite place for authentic Malay food. They have quite a big selection of dishes in their Bain Marie that is the backbone of Malay style dining - rice with 2 meats and one veg. Portions are generous and food is always delicious! They even have paru! The big surprise is their sizzling Yee mee on hot plate - it’s exactly as I remember it from a shop we used to eat at in KLCC food court. They also have laksa and bakso noodles soup. With a range of Malay kuih and sardine curry puffs - yes a rare find! The only drawback is the small dining area but as Malaysians do, we share the table with other diners! And there is always ‘tapau’ (takeaway). The owner operators are so dedicated and genuine - we feel they are like family. You can check Facebook for their regular updates."
